DAVECOLE

Creative Director

You’re not the only one figuring it out as you go. Your partners are too. The coworker with the slide deck may be well-rehearsed, but every workday is a live show, and in 2026 the routine has new steps every night.

You can wait for the industry to package it and sell you a course. You can hire a LinkedIn thought leader to cosplay as a wizard. Or you can bring in someone who's comfortable building the thing from your head before you even know what to call it.

Trained as a visual artist, writer, and coder, I've been Creative Director, Head Writer, Executive Producer, Founder, VP Marketing, DJ, and someone dancing in a giant robot costume. None of those is the job. All of them are the job.

Moves in weeks, wins in months, holy shit that worked in under a year. Bring the mandate and the nerve. The rest we figure out in the room.

Once we build the room.

Smithee is the system I’m building for minidrama content studios that need screenplays at scale: development, scripts, and production documents built fast, with continuity logic, craft data, and years of screenwriting experience layered in where the base model runs out of road. Summit6 applies the same discipline to medical malpractice litigation, turning unstructured medical records into winning legal strategy.

Turned kitten TikToks into $7.5M in revenue growth for PrettyLitter. Marketed a plant-based foods company from the farmers’ market to the stock market. Produced Hot Wheels content for Mattel that generated 45 million views in 6 months. Created brand new original series and re-imagined old ones for the world’s largest networks and production companies like Disney, Nickelodeon, and Saban. I’ve got the direction for any connection.

Personal work

Art+ScienceProjects

Experiments in consent, obligation, and the specific pleasure of creating things that exist just to make the world a funnier place. What it costs when you can’t walk away. The hilarity of sharing some obtuse joy with strangers from 150 feet away. The goal is always the same: hit ’em with a vibe they didn’t see coming.
